Oops. I forgot what I was going to write here(looks for notes)... Ah, found it. To be a real programmer I need to learn to look at a piece of code and determine if it will run or not. Obviously this requires experience, but also I need to rebuild my logic and critical thinking. I am thinking the best way to learn this is to just start programming. My first mission is to write a working program from scratch. The corallary to that is I need to actually finish a project I have started.

Also on my list of things to do is get TclSOAP working with AOLserver. It almost works. After that I need to figure out how to integrate it with OpenACS.

A little hard drive problem, and a fried CPU kept me off the air for a few days. Luckily I was able to save all the data on the hard drive, but diagnosing intermittent CPU wackiness is harder. I got lucky that there was a spare CPU around. More coding to come.

I am testing dotLRN, a education management application built on OpenACS. Beyond that I am testing an improved ns_xml and the next version of the ETP package for openacs.
