I am now working with Solution Grove providing OpenACS and .LRN support and custom development.
Development
Customization of existing OpenACS applications, or development of new applications using the OpenACS toolkit. Community, Collaborative, and Education web sites built on OpenACS and dotLRN.
The OpenACS toolkit provides an integrated data model with built in support for user registration and management including groups, full text search index for every page and any item in the database, and content management.
Documentation and Training
Custom documentation of OpenACS and related systems including administrator and user training.
Experience
- OpenACS Core Team member 2003-2004
- Developer and Maintainer of tDAV - WebDAV support for AOLserver, and WebDAV support for OpenACS
- Redesigned OpenACS File Storage user interface and added WebDAV support for File Storage
- Greenpeace.org - Added and fixed some features of the content management system.
- Sloanspace/dotLRN - Developed a new survey package with Luke Pond and Musea Technologies for Sloan School at MIT. The package is now part of OpenACS and is still under development.
- OpenACS.org - Project Management of redesigned OpenACS 4 based site. I coordinated with community developers from around the world. This included modifying and testing migration scripts from OpenACS 3 to OpenACS 4. See the site credits for a partial list of people who worked on the project.
- Documentation and site migration for a non-profit community organization
- Member of team that developed a Project Portfolilo Management application for a distribution company.
- Package maintainer for Edit-this-page and Survey OpenACS packages.
